Renesas Original Evaluation

In addition to conformance test under ISO 16845, Re-

nesas products have been evaluated by Renesas’

original test method.

Built-in flash memory functions

High precision on-chip oscillator

CPU re-write mode

User domain delete/write, using flash re-write

program created by the customer.

Data flash

Small-block flash memory, known as data flash is embedded

in addition to program flash memory. This domain can be

erased up to 10,000 times, and can be used to replace an

external EEPROM.

Watchdog timer

Operates after MCU reset release

●

Operates using independent count source (on-chip

oscillator operated)

●

Count source cannot be switched, continuous feed is

possible

●

This function removes the need for an external watch-

dog timer, and reduces the mounting area and costs.
