Preface

The PC4701U system is designed for use with Renesas M16C Family (32/16- and 16-bit), 7700

Family (16-bit) and 740 Family (8-bit) MCUs. The PC4701U system is configured with the emula-

tor PC4701U, an emulation pod, an emulator debugger M3T-PDxx, and a host machine.

This User's Manual describes the emulator PC4701U centering around specifications and an expla-

nation of how to set up your PC4701U system. For details about an emulation pod and emulator

debugger M3T-PDxx, refer to the user's manuals (Online Help) supplied with your emulation pod and

software package.

To check the components of this product, refer to "PC4701U Packing List". If there is any sugges-

tion, opinion or question about this product, please contact your local distributor.
